Most people set goals and resolutions to start at the beginning of the week, month or year.
Studies have shown that if we start something at a date that signifies a new beginning, we’re more likely to be successful.
With it being January 1st, 2020, it’s not only the beginning of a new year, but it’s also the beginning of a new decade. In other words, it’s the perfect time for you to get that business started or restarted, and recommit to it, yourself and your goals.

Before anything else, let’s pull out your old lists of prospects.
You’ve gone through them before; a lot of people said no and some of them didn’t give you an answer at all.
I want you to put those people back on your prospecting list.
Here’s why:
Many people won’t remember that you talked to them about your product or service, and some may not even remember that you spoke to them.
If they do remember talking with you, just be open, honest and transparent with them. Maybe you were just getting started and didn’t have all the facts, maybe new things have come up, or maybe you just wanted to check in again and see if they’re in a different place now.
Your job as a salesperson is to help your prospects make a decision. If you truly believe in what you’re selling, and you truly believe that it will help that person, don’t be afraid to talk to them again.
This is a time of new beginnings, newfound knowledge, and new conversations.
